ALL ORIGINAL HERMAN MILLER CHARLES EAMES DESIGNED 2ND 1952 PRODUCTION DCW MOLDED/BENT PLYWOOD "BLACK EBONIZED" CHAIR IN EXCELLENT CONDITION !!
This is a 100% original 2nd production Dining Chair Wood,a DCW designed by the great Charles Eames, manufactured by HermanMiller, Zeeland, Michigan, A1 vintage condition, no breaks, no cracks, no chips, no replacement parts, absolutely superb, the pictures tell it all. This fine bent plywood chair is in outstanding condition and is coal black in color referred to as "Black Ebonized", the finish is consistent and intact as the pictures portray with no chips, gouges, cracks or nominal wear with the exception of minor edge bumps, bruises and light scuffs. T is a deepish scratch about 2 in length near the back edge of the seat which is the worst of it, and that is barely noticable. The foil Herman Miller label typical of this production has fallen off over time as can be seen by the glue residue on the bottom, although their is still the original silver production stamp on the underside of the seat denoting "DCW 52". All shock mounts, screws & bolts and leg glides are original, unmolested and in excellent condition This item is used and vintage as described and is being sold as-is - all sales are final. Please ask questions before bidding, and don't bid if you don't intend to buy the item. Any bidder with less than 5 positive feedbacks must contact me before placing a bid to verify your intention, if you do not do so I reserve the right to cancel and block your bid. The chair will be shipped with the seat and base disassembled to conform to shipping limitations, reassembly is simply with the original 5 phillips head screws and 6 bolts as shown in the photos of the chair bottom. Item will ship domestically for a fee of $40, International shipping will run $80 to the designated countries. Insurance costs for either will be additional and is required even though the chair is very durable and will be packaged with great consideration. All International bidders must also bear in mind and be responsible for the customs regulations of their respective country since I have no way of doing that on my end Payment must be made within 5 days of auction ending. Will ship Internationally to buyers paying by PAYPAL ONLY and you must be a VERIFIED buyer. Payment via PAYPAL and MONEY ORDER ONLY for U.S. buyers.
