This is a quite superb gothic oak panel with its intricate relief carvings of which: During our research we have been informed it dates from the early period of the 19th century and is of european origin . Would have been displayed and was part of the the architecture of a church or a house of religion. Dates about c1820. Certainly a quite superb intricate gothic carved panel with its relief and decorative carvings. Carved in an oak and c arved in relief, therefore a one piece carved panel . Mounted on a oak stand. Original painted finish. Has an overall size of about 13 x 8.25inches. Max overall height including stand and rear of about 16.25 inches. Base size of about 10 x 2.25inches. Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is very good and is not subject to: any major blemishes . All as per pictures.
