SUPERB EGYPTIAN CARVED BLACK STONE HEAD OF A PHARAOH This is an absolutely magnificent EGYPTIAN CARVED BLACK STONE HEAD OF A PHARAOH , (possibly ancient, ca. 1450 BC.). This spectacular carved stone head wears a tall crown with a carved inset in the center, possibly for a former attachment. The face is beautifully carved, the lips full and the eyes with long eyebrows and cosmetic lines. It measures 5" high, 2 ¼" wide, 4" deep and is in excellent overall condition. PROVENANCE : This item was acquired this week from the estate of a Beverly Hills collector and was legally imported into the United States over 50 years ago. I do not know the age of it and have not had it appraised or authenticated. It is being sold "as is" with no refund or return and NO RESERVE !
