This is a superb vintage handmade Romanian peasant dress that has great areas that are just covered with intricate hand stitches. It is made out of heavy white linen and is in good clean condition and fit on my size 38 mannequin. Laying flat this dress measures 21" across the bust, 47" top to bottom and the sleeves are 28" measured from the neckline. This dress is what I consider " a textile work of art" as t are so many hours of hand labor and such an attractive finished product. I think you can see from the photos what a fine addition this dress is to any collection as well as wearable for special occasions. Please check out other listings for similiar quality items.
