SPECIMEN: Hardystonite, Calcite, Willemite, Clinohedrite (fl-SW), Franklinite, Andradite SOURCE: Franklin, New Jersey WEIGHT: 1 lb. APPROX. SIZE: 3 3/4 X 3 X 1 3/4 in. 's a gorgeous shortwave fluorescent with Hardystonite (blue), Calcite (red), Willemite (green), and minor Clinohedrite (orange) - check out the photos, this is a beauty! The UV pics are taken under medium-power shortwave UV sources using appropriate Hoya filters, but t could also be some source reflection. 's your chance to bring a beautiful 4-color rarity to your fluorescent Franklin collection. Thank you for viewing this listing! BTW, I will be continually adding new specimens to my eBay store and my website (check eBay's 'me' description for the address), and putting others up for auction; please check them out when you have a chance. SPECIAL FREE SHIPPING OFFER: Anyone purchasing two or more items via the "buy-it-now" option or from my website will receive free USPS Priority Mail shipping and insurance (within the USA only) for those items and any others won which can be reasonably combined with them (larger items added to free "buy-it-now" shipments may require a small additional charge). International buyers of two or more "buy-it-now" or website specimens will have the international handling fee waived, and receive a substantial discount on the actual cost of shipping. The fine print: Paypal payments are now the only form of payment eBay accepts. All shipments within the USA will use USPS Priority Mail. The cost of shipping this specimen is dependent on your zip code, and single specimen shipments can be accurately determined by using eBay's shipping calculator (my zip code is 19087). eBay overestimates the cost of shipping multiple specimens, but I will send you an accurate shipping quote for multiple specimens upon request - I do not add any handling charges within the USA. International shipments can be sent surface, air, or Priority Mail International (standard) at the buyer's option; in addition to the actual shipping cost, a $5.00 international handling fee per shipment will be charged, regardless of the number of specimens included. For many domestic and international multiple specimen shipments, the Priority Mail flatrate box is by far the most attractive option. I will hold specimens to consolidate shipments (and save on shipping costs); however, the purchase price of all items held for more than two weeks should be paid when the request to hold the specimens is made. All items are sold "as is" and all sales are final, so please email me with any questions you have on this item (). If any item doesn't meet your expectations, it may be returned within 14 days for a refund of the purchase price only; this means you will have paid for the shipping (both ways). Also, since all items bought and paid for are generally shipped within one business day, if you would like me to hold shipping for additional purchases (or any other reason), please let me know via email before making payment. ULTRAVIOLET PHOTO NOTES: Accurately representing the true colors of these specimens under UV light through digital photography is very tricky, and dependent on many factors, including UV source lighting, background, ambient light, distance from lamp to specimen, camera characteristics, and others, even the type of monitor you use to view them. I try very hard to make sure that all photos accurately represent the way the specimens look to me under my UV lamps; however, past comments from customers indicate that the most common problem they have seen on eBay from most sellers of fluorescents (including me!) is the introduction of a decidedly blue tint to non-fluorescent or mildly fluorescent portions of the specimens photographed. The problem occurs under both longwave and shortwave UV, but is worst under unfiltered BLB source illumination; I use appropriate longwave and shortwave filters on all of my lamps, but some blue may creep in anyway on some photos.
