It has the presence that gives la poterie francais it's irresistible charm. Also known as a Pot a Conserver, it has a pronounced flared rim and perfect proportion at 10" tall by 9.50" wide. The glaze is a a sunny yellow colour with a hint of iridescence; the coulour and character that can only evolve from the passage of time, the hot provencal sun and Mother Nature. And a unique touch that makes it stand out...three splashes of provencal green glaze. n earlier eras, these Confit Pots were utilitarian pieces, used in country homes and farms for the storage of Duck Confit and other foods, keeping them cool and fresh throughout the summer.
