Simply the best card case I have ever seen. Approx. 3 by 4 1/2 inches and of natrual "faux" tortoise shell. Workmanship is superb with both sides having a fantastic carved Cathedral window with spires and peaked top. Ribbed columns on each side and a design of floral decoration. The latch is in working order and that area is trimmed in ivory. The top has a silver plate for initials. Probably around 1870. In wonderful condition with just a small bruise to the underside corner. For the consummate collector. Payment is due in 7 days.
