If you have any questions about this item or buy it now option, you can contact me via email at Superb pair of French high grade 935 silver lorgnettes, made circa 1905. This is a beautiful pair of silver folding lorgnettes made in France circa 1905. The lenses / frames are square in shape with canted corners. The lenses fold together and then slide into the silver holder which has a pull button to the end which releases the lenses. The holder has a suspension ring and loop. Both sides are superbly chased. The lorgnettes are 4 inches / 101 mm wide across the lenses and 1-1/2 inches / 38 mm high. When closed, the case is 2-7/8 inches / 74 mm long. The lorgnettes are stamped 935 for high grade silver. The lorgnettes are in excellent condition with no dents, damage or repair. They have their original lenses which are also without damage. I accept payment via Paypal as well as personal cheques in Pounds Sterling drawn on a UK bank. For international customers, by arrangement payment may also be done via bank wire transfer.
