This lovely Japanese Cup and Saucer is Satsuma Ware from highest quality. Golden Meiji period around 1890. Artist´s signature "Kinkozan zo" as impressed mark on the base of each object. Incredible and beautiful extreme detailed micro hand painted decoration with various flowers (more than 200 blooms) and a lot of butterflies around and in the cup and on the saucer. This object is (for my eye) the best of a collection of more than 12 total different absolute top cups and saucers (all Kinkozan), which came together in a lifetime-collection of japanese art. It will well match together with the now from me in eBay offered rare Kinkozan flower milkpot and the lovely fine Kinkozan flower-garden vase. A good collector may have the chance to bring these objects together again. Please look to my other japanese objects, which will end earlier on wednesday, Febr. 7.2007! This original Cup and Saucer is better than you can judge it on the photos. Only a in person inspection with good eyes or a lup will reveal the master grade workmanship. Excellent original condition, absolute no wear on the cup and on all flower painting, near no wear on the gold rim of the saucer. No restoration. The now offered objects are definitely in highest quality you can find.This object will complete your collection on absolute top level quality and you will also make a good investment for the future.

Size: Cup 2" high and also 2" in diameter, Saucer 4 1/2" in diameter.

Items are in a safe place, not in my home. But buyer can take the object by appointment direct from me at home. Otherwise item will be packed carefully and safe with own hands. Only exact shipping costs with insurance, carrier: UPS - Ground, no handling fees.
