I am in the United Kingdom and I ship world-wide. Further down in the listing I have quoted the Airmail shipping costs, including insurance, to the United States, Europe and within the United Kingdom. I only charge the actual shipping costs, no hidden extras.
I will also be listing two other embroidered shawls which you may wish look at. This is a superb very large, almost square shaped Chinese or Canton hand embroidered silk shawl, which I believe dates to about the 1880's. It is very large and has fringing on all 4 sides. It is very unusual, as one half is decorated with Chinese figures and pagodas and the other half has large birds and flowers. So in effect, it is two shawls in one. The base fabric is cream silk and all the embroidery is hand done using silk threads. The colours and dense quality of the work is just beautiful. The faces on the figures are white silk and t is such detailed embroidery on the costumes. The photos really don't adequately show how amazing it is, you need to see it in the flesh to fully appreciate it. The deep border and fringing is hand knotted onto the border. This beautiful shawl must have taken a very long time to complete. Not only can it be worn but it would look stunning displayed, or it could even be used on a bed as it is so large. CONDITION. MEASUREMENTS. SHIPPING. EUROPE Airmail with insurance will cost $26.50. UNITED KINGDOM Royal Mail Special delivery will be $16.90. PAYMENT. Buyers within the United Kingdom you can pay with Paypal or by cheque. Cheques take 5 working days to clear. I do not accept returns unless I have misdescribed the item or failed to mentioned a serious flaw.
