This is the earlier edition of the two Lladro models of Pharmacists and the most expensive of the several professional figurines produced by Lladro. This outstanding piece was issued in 1973 and retired in 1985 This earlier piece model typically runs into four figures (1200.00-1500.00) with his highest ever auction price topping out at an incredible $ 2150.00. Source of this information from "Collecting Lladro Identification and price guide", by Peggy Whiiteneck copr 2001 (six years ago) In the last six years t has been appreciation in prices and values. T is a reserve on this stunning piece commensurate with its obvious value and protecting my invested cost. The low minimum is to keep the ebay fees as low as possible. Do not be discouraged by the modest reserve as compared with a value of over $1500.00. This is a knock-out, show-stopper piece and could be the highlight of your Lladro collection. This sculpture is a fraction short of 13 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches across the base. T are no chips, cracks, lines, crazing or any restorations. It is MINT! Sorry t is no original box.
