A particularly fine antique Sterling Silver bowl of large proportions created in London in the Arts and Crafts style during the reign of King George V. The hammered body is of compressed form raised on a circular foot with an egg and dart style decoration to upper rim. This impressively stylish bowl with its graceful appearance would make the perfect table centre piece. It is in very good condition with no repairs or damage and benefits from distinct, well struck hallmarks. Hallmarks: Lion passant, Town mark for London, Date letter for 1923, Makers mark R & S Measures: 8.375 inches - 213mm diameter, 2.5 inches - 64mm high.
