I have a wonderful collection of antique porcelain and glass up for auction this week from a Palm Beach estate. This is a superb antique Meissen Porcelain 19th century cabinet plate. Decorated with a heavy gold gilt swirl around a scalloped border. Then, a lovely heavy dark red and then a gold gilt raised ornate inside centered with a pair of beautiful cherub puttis. They sit on a cloud and hold a wreath of flowers. Marked on back with Meissen blue crossed swords. Seconds probably because of the gold loss around the inside border. Dates circa 1850. Measures 8.5". Has a repair from a chip off the side on the back edge, done well, seen on backside only. I have another similar one listed. I will combine shipping. Perfect for collector.
