This is a superb and original bronze semi naked female of which: during our research we have been informed she dates from the art deco period of the c1930s. She was part of a recent house clearance where the owner was a collector of bronzes and spelters from the 18th, 19th and later centuries including art deco, art nouveau and classical figures. Wonderful detailing and portrayal of the semi naked dancing figurine. In a gilt bronze with the coloured bronze top hat. Portrayed in a dancing pose, she can therefore rotate on the base. Mounted onto a stepped decorative base, she has an overall height of about 8inches. Overall base size of about 3.25inches square. Condition: The overall condition, considering the age is excellent and is without blemish except very minor areas of rubbing. All as per pictures. Besides being a very collectable heavy and original semi naked art deco bronze figurine from the said period, would also look fabulous displayed.
