This superb art deco naked female figurine was part of a recent house clearance. The owner was an avid collector of bronzes and spelters from the 18th, 19th and later centuries. This included figurines of militaria, art deco, art nouveau, animals and classical. With lots of negotiations with the executors of the estate we were able to purchase the entire collection. This is a superb art deco spelter figurine. During our research we have been informed she is from the c1930s. Portrayed naked with a dish held above her head. Mounted on a spelter base. This is mounted on a square marble base. The overall height is about 14inches with a max base size 3.5inches Wonderful overall detailing. Signed to base: Limousin. Condition: As per pictures with no blemishes except a small hole to dish underneath. Besides being a very collectable and original art deco spelter figurine with the wonderful overall detailing, would also look fabulous displayed.
