These are a superb pair of Staffordshire mother cows and feeding calves with the spill vases to the rear. During our research we have been informed they certainly dates from the 19th century. Certainly a wonderful portrayal of the coloured cows and feeding calves. A left and a right. Wonderful overall decoration with the hand painted colouring to the bodies of the cows and calves. Large spill vases to the rear centrally. Mounted onto the decorative oval bases with the stream decoration to both. A large and heavy pair of staffordshire cows and calves with the spill vases. Each has an overall height of about 10.5inches. Base sizes of about 8 x 4.5inches. Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is very good with: one has a chip to the horn of a cow with the other having a restored horn. One spill vase has minor touching up internally with both having minor areas of loss of colour. All as per pictures. Besides being a very collectable and very heavy pair of 19th century Staffordshire cows with the feeding calves and spill vases, both would also look fabulous displayed. uk to uk: FREE uk to usa: FREE uk to eu europe: FREE uk to worldwide: EMAIL FOR QUOTE!!!!
