These are a superb pair of 19th century Staffordshire Scottish figurines of a male and a female with the goats. Wonderful overall colouring and decoration with the tartan accessories. Portrayed seated on boughs with the goats. Both has an overall height of about 6inches with a max base size of about 4.25 x 2.5inches. Condition: Male is excellent with no chips, cracks or restoration but similar to fermale with areas of paint loss as per pictures. The female has a crack to her rear with similar to her right arm and left wrist. We do not think her body has been into two pieces as the waist area is clean with no restoration. With todays modern restoration and advanced techniques, certainly can be improved. Besides being a very collectable 19th century pair of 19th century Staffordshire Scottish figurines with the goats, would also look fabulous displayed.
