Superb Photo NOTERAUORIWA & Baby - MAORI c1880s This is one of four mounted albumen photos featuring Maori Chiefs taken in New Zealand in the 1880s that I have listed this week. They were purchased t by Captain Andrew Francis Balfour of the Royal Navy, around 1888. This one is a photo titled Noterauoriwa. The photographer's name does not appear on the photo, but I have been told that it was by Elizabeth Pulman. The photo is 5x4 inches (127x102mm) and is mounted onto card. The photo has lost some contrast and has some white spots. The card is a little rippled but framing would solve this. I prefer payment by Paypal or Visa/ Mastercard but other methods are available on request. UK bidders can pay in £'s by Cheque. The shipping and insurance for this item is $3.00 to any location Worldwide. If you live within the UK, the cost will be half of this figure. Winners of multiple auctions will get a lower combined shipping rate.
