is an Elegant Cased Set of Six Victorian Sterling Silver Buttons Made by MacKay, Cunningham & Company âeoeGoldsmiths to the Queenâe (Victoria) in Edinburgh, Scotland. These are Six Perfectly Matched Silver Buttons in Excellent Condition with Split Ring Loop Attachments. Each Button is Â½ Inch in Diameter

You are bidding on a cased set of six beautifully matched Victorian sterling silver buttons made by MacKay, Cunningham & Company âeoeGoldsmiths to the Queenâe in Edinburgh, Scotland.

These gorgeous buttons exhibit top quality workmanship with fine filigree fretwork and are in excellent condition.
These are finely made in sterling silver, but are NOT hallmarked, which is correct for this period, as each individual button would weigh less than the threshold weight above which formal assay and hall marking was required.

Each button measures one half inch in diameter (0.5 ins). Each button has a split ring attachment. The buttons are in splendid condition with no damage or repairs.
They are fitted in a deep burgundy case with a cream colored silk and velvet lining. The hook clasp is in good working order and the hinges are still tight. See photos for surface wear on the case.
