SUPERB SET 6 GEORGE V SILVER COCKTAIL STICKS SILVER CUT GLASS STAND LONDON 1931 Description The Faded Grandeur Forum... Please see the last photograph and below for details!*** Absolutely superb, rare set of six George V silver cocktail sticks with what appear to be cherry bakelite 'cherry' shaped finials on a silver mounted cut glass stand hallmarked London 1931, The stand measures approx 5.2" tall (13cm) Each stick measures approx just under 3" tall (7.2cm) Total weight of set including stand approx 244.7g (8.61oz) The hallmark is present on the stand and each cocktail stick is marked 'sterling'. There is also a makers mark but this is difficult to make out CONDITION Please take a close look at the photographs and supersize the images. This set has been used, however condition for a set of this age is fabulous. The sticks are all in good order, some slight marks to the cherry finials, so they could do with a clean, I have only given them a wipe. The cut glass base to the stand has a couple of small chips to the inner rim, nothing which detracts. The silver mount is a little tarnished, there are some scratches to the top, again these do not detract and may improve with a good clean ***BARGAIN START AT 99p*** Stunning!
