The Viola family encompasses a large variety of flowers including Violets, the smaller flowered Violas, Johnny Jump Ups (some of the most charming and whimsical flowers around) and Pansies. They are free flowering with a long flowering season. Their variety of colors is huge - and with the variations being developed every year, the choice is endless. Their happy nodding little faces dance on a thick bed of leaves. I will be listing beautiful and fine handpainted porcelain all featuring the beloved varieties of Violas. Please visit all my auctions for these gorgeous flowers - the symbol of Love! This is a superb Dresser set that I've had in my personal collection. The set consists of a Powder Jar and Hair Receiver that are painted with gorgeous double Violets and wide, thick bands of gold. This is a very beautiful and glossy set that gleams with rich colors and strong Gold. The artist has painted the Violets all around the lids with wide bands of gold on the bottom of the lids and tops of the bottoms.
