SUPERB 1907 Tiger Oak Bowed China Cabinet / Closet w/ Griffins!!! Up for auction is an exceptional early 1900's original quartersawn / tiger oak china closet. This piece features two very desirable lions heads or griffins - similar in design to that of R J Horner. Along with the lion head carvings, the front feet are carved into claw feet. As you can see from the pictures the entire piece is constructed using excellent tiger oak - a combination of solid and veneer. Inside the china cabinet are four adjustable shelves with plate grooves. T is a mirror behind the top shelf. An excellent piece of antique furniture - ready for your china collection! The door pull is even in the figure of a lion head. Please excuse the hands and white dust - it was 16 degrees and windy when taking the pics! Measures 45.5" wide by 64" high by 19" deep.
