A good quality Victorian Nurses Silver Buckle with beautiful openwork Flower & Foliage designs. In my opinion the Buckle dates from around 1880, but please make up your own mind about this. The Buckle is marked on both parts, (reverse.) It is probably Silver plated rather than Solid Silver, although t is no show through metal. The condition is excellent. The Buckle measures 3 x 2 inches (75 x 50mm.) This is a very clean and well finished, Victorian Buckle, suitable to wear or enhance a collection. T is no reserve. Please DO NOT ask me to stop the sale and sell to you before the end of the auction,to be fair to everyone, I don't do that.
