An absolutely lovely antique French bed The frame is finished in a grey painted shabby chic French finish The paintwork is in good order The frame is nicely shaped and the upholstery in gold order The upholstery is simply fabulous, wonderful pastel flowers on a gold background The scalloped side rails bolt firmly but invisibly into the head and baseboard, so the bed is very firm when together but can be dismantled for transport The bed is supplied without base or matress. . A base can be easily made by screwing 2 by 2 pieces into the side rails and lay slats across that. A king size mattress goes on top.
