You are bidding on a superb, very special vintage fur coat - It is very heavy, warm coat, possibly made of Mink or Arctic Fox but I am not sure as it doesn't say on the label and I originally purchased it in around 1982, (used) so it would be older than that. It was made by Michaels, well known Furriers based in Torquay and Plymouth, Devon (long since closed). The size is 36, (UK size 8) so it is a petite size, and is hip length. It fastens up with clip fasteners which unfortunately do not now stay done up very well, due to the age of the coat but I expect these can be replaced, but this is not a problem as it stays fastened with the detachable leather tie belt around the waist, and also there is a hook and eye fastener at the top so it can be fastened up at the neck if required - I should emphasise that this is a VERY heavy and warm coat, hence the postage rate! It is lined in beautiful pinkish gold satin which is very slightly marked under the arms but is barely noticeable, but there are no tears or rips in the lining. The coat is immaculate apart from the fasteners as I have said, plus on the edge of the sleeves the fur is very slightly worn, but again is hardly noticable at all - but I feel I should point it out - It is almost as good as new in spite of me wearing it quite a lot over the years.NB: I will be happy to find out read more
