This Auction is for a Vintage Oak Draw Leaf or Pub Style Table from England. This is a well made and a good table for it's age and travels! This table is well made of Oak and Oak veneers. It's called a "plank & panel top" in this part of the country. The top Oak planks are a full 1 inch on this table, not 3/4" as most are. It's very solid and very stable and quite heavy. It's will last for years & years to come. It would make an excellent breakfast table in a nook or quite a nice game table for cards & board games. It would also make a Great everyday dining table. As far as the finish goes, it's good overall and way better than average. You can see some very pretty wood grains running throughout the top of this table and the base is very pretty and the pedestal has beautiful "Bulbous Smooth Acorns" on them. The matching chairs shown with the table are also on eBay this week, what a wonderful set this would make! I would guess that's it's around 70 to 85 years old. The table will ship in 2 containers, the base in one and the top & leaves in another. Overall, it's a very good table for the price. It's 35 7/8" X 36" and about 30" tall closed. Opened or drawn, it's 60 1/4" X 37 5/8" and around 29" tall. Each leaf is 12" X 35 7/8".
