Offered for your consideration is a superb vintage Sharp brand model 300 lockblade pocketknife. Sharp was/is the house brand for Kmart and their older knives were an excellent value for the price. While most of their current knives were made in China, their older models were mostly made in Japan and they're very solid and of excellent quality. This is a large, sturdy folding hunter model and it's the largest of their "Custom Crafted" series. I've owned several of these knives over the years and this is the nicest example I've seen. They just don't come much nicer than this gem!The knife has not been used, carried, or sharpened and remains in perfect condition with its original box, sheath, and paperwork. It has not been cleaned or buffed and remains original.This was a solidly built knife that has a very substantial feel in the hand. The thick, sturdy blade was ground with an integral thumb ramp and it has a bright satin finish. The blade etch remains bold and strong with great contrast against the finish. Blade travel is smooth and lock-up is solid. The lock engages with crisp precision and an audible click. The blade remains rock-solid and completely tight in the open position with no wobble or play.
