SUPERMAN20 (1943) G.A. Comic: VG-! WWII COVER! ***No Reserve!*** “2010 Overstreet Price Guide” price in this grade : $225 NOTABLE : Early Superman; Great WWII cover! ATTRACTIONS : Solid book is totally intact – both staples are pulled slightly, but cover and all pages still attached DETRACTIONS : Front cover: biggest blemish is a ½” x 1” piece missing from right edge, lower center; dust shadow along right edge; name “Eugene Bora” written in pencil by bomb explosion cloud; all else flat and nice Back cover: thin dust shadow along left edge; all else looks greatInterior: Light tan to cream pages RESTORATION : Not that I know of POLICIES AND PHILOSOPHY : Grading : I am a comic collector of 30 years – I am not an expert, but am a comic lover and a comic buyer first. I have sent numerous books to the CGC and have adjusted my grading based on those results. That is to say, I have elevated my standards and lowered my grades. I try to err on the conservative side. I have bought quite a bit on ebay (please see for yourselves) and know the feeling of getting a book that grades quite a bit lower than what was advertised.
