You are bidding on a great Silver Age Lot of Superman and Action Comics that includes Superman Annual #3 (G) and Action # 266 (VG) and #294 (VG). These are tough to get books in any condition and their value increases every year. Please see my scans and the descriptions below! Moderate wear consistent with a book in this condition See the rubbing below the DC logo. This is not a tear but cover wear. Cover and Centerfold FIRMLY attached. Nice solid copy. Overstreet Value in VG = $42.00 Action # 294 (VG) Solid and tight cover and centerfold About a 1" tear on lower font cover through the words "Superman, Kryptonite and Killer" Date stamp over Kryptonite Man. Nearly imperceptible bindery defects or printing flaws may be seen under extremely close inspection. Corners are sharp and square, cover inks are bright and reflective, spine is tight and flat, staples are centered, pages are white and supple. No cover soiling, creasing, tearing, pieces missing, or wear. MT- 9.9 and NM+ /MT- 9.8 Nearly perfect. Overall look is as if it had just been hand-selected as the best copy from the newstand and never read. Only subtle bindery or printing flaws allowed. Corners are sharp and square, cover inks are bright and reflective, spine is tight and flat, staples are centered, pages are white and supple. No cover soiling, creasing, tearing, pieces missing, or wear. NM+ 9.6, NM 9.4, NM- 9.2 Nearly perfect with only minor imperfections. Overall look is as if it had just been purchased from the newstand and carefully read once or twice. Subtle bindery or printing flaws allowed, including a 1/16" bindery tear. Corners are sharp and either square or with ever-so-slight blunting, cover inks are bright and reflective, spine is tight and flat, staples are generally centered, pages are off-white to cream and supple. No cover soiling, creasing, tearing, pieces missing, or wear. VF+/ NM- 9.0, VF+ 8.5, VF 8.0, VF- 7.5. Outstanding with excellent eye appeal. Overall look is as if it had been read a few times and carefully handled. Limited number of bindery or printing flaws allowed. Corners may have minute wear, cover inks are bright and moderate to highly reflective, spine is almost completely flat with a possible minor color break, staples may have slight discoloration, pages are cream to tan and supple. No obvious cover soiling, tearing, or pieces missing. Cover may have minimal surface wear with a possible 1/4" or smaller bend that doesn't break color. FN+/VF- 7.0, FN+ 6.5, FN 6.0, FN- 5.5. Above-average copy that shows minor wear but is flat and clean with good eye appeal. Overall look is as if read a few times and handled with moderate care.
