Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane #83 May 1968; is one of several mostly 1965 and 1966 issues from this title that is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS quality. What a sweeeeet Neal Adams cover featuring bad girl Lois in a motorcycle gang! Spectacular gloss on this vivid purple, pink, and black background. This was graded a 9.4 by someone that I agree with 98% of the time, I have to go a little more conservative than that I think its worthy of a 9.0-9.2 tag, I would lean towards 9.2 personally and I'm quite certain that the book would not return from being registered as less than a 9.0. Has a few miniscule spine stressers and the tiniest, speck sized blemishes along the absolute tips of the bottom edge that are only brought to light due to the black background. Back cover has a trace of ink ruboff from the front cover of the copy this one was sitting on top of at the store, very common, and its certainly easy to see how the dark colors of this cover could transfer a little. This stunner is ultra high grade in anyone's strictest grading universe. Check out the supersized scans.
