Offered for sale is a vintage cast metal statue from the 1950's, featuring a modernistic image of a long board surfer, and is a unique example of "surf art" from the early days of the sport, and a rare to find collector's item that may have been a prototype trophy emblem for a local California surf club or contest back in the day - found in Santa Cruz, CA (see bio info). The statue measures 8.5" high, is in nice condition (has some green oxidation in spots due to moisture exposure; can be professionally cleaned or restored), and is very suitable for display. The asking price is $499.99 with FREE shipping, and would make for a unique one-of-a-kind addition to any Surfing Memorabilia Collection! Overseas bidders please add for additional S/H costs, and CA State Residents please add 9% sales tax.
