(5) 1/4" holes need be drilled in order to make it look like the one in the photo gallery. You are very flexible to reposition parts as you wish...just make sure to use the connection diagram when you wire it. All of the parts in this kit will easily fit inside the lid of the box. Simply drill a few holes for the Variable capacitor, earphone, earth ground wire, and coil wires. Finish in any color you desire and install the parts inside the cavity of the lid using point to point wiring as shown in the included schematic included with the kit.
