This is a rare Susie Cooper Art Deco Kestral coffee or hot water jug in the delightful and collectible Patricia Rose pattern. I have owned this for more than 35 years and will be selling more of my collection. I believe this is a genuine 1930s pattern although I can't be certain, but from what I know of its provenance I guess it is of 1930s vintage. With its elegant, streamlined Art Deco shape, the jug measures about 18cm at its widest point across the top and stands 16.5cm high without its lid, and about 19cm with its lid on. It is in very good overall condition with no crazing, chips or cracks. It bears the popular Patricia Rose design with a rose pink lid with a cream, sweeping final. Very Deco. All the decoration is in good shape. However, please bare in mind that this is possibly 75 years old and is not in mint condition. I ask you to study the photographs carefully. The jug has the Susie Cooper Production, Crown Works Burslem, England mark. This is a lovely, genuine, vintage piece and very Art Deco, similar to Clarice Cliff and Shelley. Perfect for a retro tea party! INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: I am happy to post to the USA, Japan, China etc but please note my exceptions . If the winning bidder is from one of my allowed overseas locations, please wait until I notify you of the specific postage charge for international despatch read more
