Outstanding fantastic Hand Carved Southwest HOPI INDIAN "one piece" Avatoki Sayok Kachina circa 1950's-1960's. The Kachina is 12 1/2" in height (which includes round wooden base of 1 3/4"). The width at the widest part is app. 3 1/2". Craftsmanship is outstanding-well carved and painted-great care was taken when this nice Kachina was produced. Colors in Black, White, Green, Red, and Turquoise-nice clean sharp lines. It is signed on the bottom " Awatoui Sayok Wuhti by Richard Dewakuku- Hopi-Polaced Az 86042". Also old price tag " Ogre $1125.00 ". CONDITION IS EXCELLENT with no damage. Great finish. Will be a high light of any collection-hard to find them this nice and crafted with care.
