This Auction is for a Unusual Vintage AWESOME SWANK AIRPLANE LIGHTER , SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS , Replica of Lindburgs Plane , USED Very Little , and you can tell It , But WELL KEPT , Its made of ether BRASS or TIN from what I can figure out , and I don't see any RUST , or DINGS In It , a Few Minor Scratches , thats It , a Magnet will not stick to It , Color Is BRASS Looking , and the PATINEA Is AWESOME on It , and DETAIL Is AWESOME To , really jumps out at you . Now to get the Lighter to work , you spin the PROP , this does what It should , Just Springs up EXCELLENT like It should , the Lighter Is In the Top , In the Middle of the Wings , all It needs Is Flint and Lighter Fluid , and away It goes , Has Solid Black Rubber Tires , and the Engine w the Prop Is , Is Black Rubber , has a Little TAIL WHEEL In the Back , Has STRUTS , To Fill and replace Flint and Fluid , you turn the Plane over , and t they are , 1 Screwout for Fluid and 1 Screwout for Flint , also has Embossing near these , and It reads , 1298-13 , and under that , BY , and under that , SWANK , and under that , MADE IN JAPAN , Pland Measures , 5-5/16 " Long X 6-3/4 " In Wing Span , at the Highest Point It's 2" Tall , also has It own Dark Wood Stand that has a Brass Plaque , and Embossed on It It reads , SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS , Dark Wood Stand also has 2 Notches on It to place the Plane , don't want It sliding all over the place , also has GREEN FELT on the Bottom of It to keep everything from sliding , the Stand Measures 6-1/2 " Long X 3-1/8 " Wide X 5/8 " Thick , But and as always , you are bidding on this Vintage Used Very Little Swank Spirit Of St. Louis , most likely a Table Lighter , AS IS , as best as I can describe , I also will be listing other Vintage Unusual Stuff In the Near Future so stay tuned !!!
