SWANSEA COTTAGE OR GAUDY WELCH PITCHER, CIRCA 1850. A LOVELY EXAMPLE OF GAUDY WELCH WARE. Seven inches by seven inches by four inches. This little pitcher is a beautiful example of older Swansea Cottage ware. Likely made in The Strand, circa 1850 - dated and located by the shape and style of the handle... this piece has held up beautifully. T are some signs of age, crazing and some flaking, but still in great condition after more than 150 years! Good Luck Bidding.
