My Fathers estate: Many of the items I will be auctioning off are items inherited from my Grandmother and my Father. My Father, William Larson Sr., passed away just over a year ago after losing his battle with Cancer. Dad founded one of the West Coast most successful pizza chains called "Round Table Pizza." In addition to having interest in the restaurant business, he was passionate about art and antiques. My father had a huge collection and never threw anything away. You may read more about my father at our online exhibit at . My Grandmothers estate: My Grandmother, Tamara Volsky, was born 1912 in Odessa, Russia. Her Father, who was in the military, sent Grandmother and her Mother on a boat to China just before the Bolshevik Revolution. Grandmother married my Grandfather in Shanghai and gave birth to my mother. Grandmother got a job at the Shanghai Match Company working as an assistant to Edwin Varland. In 1950, Grandmother divorced my Grandfather and left China with Edwin (her lover) for the Philippines w Edwin was appointed Consul General to the Philippines and then Swedish Ambassador. My Mother and Grandmother always said that Edwin was such a very sweet and generous man and they loved him dearly. Edwin passed away due to heart problems in 1966. Pictured are photo's of Edwin, my Grandmother and my Mother. The picture of my Mother is on the Swedish ship called "Elsnabben" in 1954 (or 55) during her travels with my Grandmother and Edwin. Grandmother is seen making a quick exit leaving my Mother to socialize with young men in uniform. God bless them all and may they rest in peace Everything must go.
