ANNUAL SCS EDITION 1988 "SHARING" THE WOODPECKERS This beautiful crystal figurine was issued and retired in 1988, it was the second of the "CARING AND SHARING" trilogy. Its sale was limited to the members of the Swarovski Collectors Society (SCS) and each member was allowed one piece. As the SCS was only started the prior year, membership was low and the supply of this item is limited. It was designed by Adi Stocker. The bottom is etched with the Swan logo, SCS, 88, MS+. The crystal is in excellent condition. It is a one owner piece and been handled with gloves and cleaned by the method recommended by Swarovski at a workshop in Wattens, Austria, the home of Swarovski. It was displayed and stored in a smoke free home. It comes in its original packaging, the inside packing in excellent condition but unfortunately the box is in poor condition, due to age and storage. The certificate is in very good condition and in its original envelope. This piece would make an excellent Christmas gift or to fill in a gap in your collection.
