Antique Saddle - Swastika Tooling! Very Rare with Bullnose Tapaderos! This is an awesome saddle from our collection. Very rare swastika (cherokee symbol for friendship) tooled, including bullnose tapaderos with matching tooling. Most of these saddles were destroyed during the WWII, but this one survived and is in fair shape. Tooling is faded/worn in places. We have tried to capture this in our photos. If you have questions, please call before bidding. 12" seat. Really unique. Probably from the turn of the century. Purchased from a collectible estate sale in the UP of Michigan. It has been kept inside a non smoking home. All rigging is intact, some curling on skirts. Surface cracking is present. Brass horn. No tears, bull nose taps have some disintegration of stitching. Normal wear and tear according to age. Iron D Rings. Double rigged. Seat is smooth. Dark oil, fleece is in fair shape. Stirrups are wood. Original iron conchos. Saddle weighs 30 lbs. Shipping is calculated and priced accordingly. You could omit the shipping costs if you wanted to pick it up. Those arrangements can be discussed before you bid. I have taken as many pics as I can and this saddle has been in our home collection for the past 10 years. Non smoking home.
