Overall depth when desk is open: 24 3/4 in. Height of desktop: 28 3/4 h D E S C R I P T I O N - Vintage Swedish Moderne Secretary or Desk of beautiful ribbon mahogany. In wonderful condition! Note the book-matched ribbon mahogany paneled and mitered drop leaf. The drop leaf top opens to form a sturdy desktop. Four drawers provide ample storage within the desk and three large drawers underneath have enough space for supplies, files and even storage of your laptop. Fully functional, the key is included. Great on its own as a writing desk ... or as a superb space on which to hold your laptop computer as you peruse eBay! Wood pieces often experience some sort of cracking or warping due to changes in climate, hydration or dehydration. If they occur at all, they are usually minor stress cracks which are structurally insignificant and cosmetically appealing. Painted pieces will often show natural distressing from use and can often show a bit of age or separation as is normal in antique painted furniture. We will make every effort to point out and photograph extreme cases of distressing, chipped, worn or damaged finishes. Also, we have the ability to touch up any of these areas for you before we ship, should you wish. Please note that handcrafted items can vary slightly in size. We will make every effort to point out any significant variances to you. Dimensions are usually rounded to the nearest 1/4". S H I P P I N G - We offer shipping as a courtesy to our buyers and go to great lengths to insure that we ship your purchase in the safest and most cost effective way possible. You are also welcome to pick up your purchase from our warehouse in Atlanta . Buyers are responsible for all packing and shipping costs.
