A little beauty from the late 1940s. I don't think she was ever out of her original box until she had her photo taken for this listing. She definitely hadn't ever had her clothes off. I hated disturbing them, but needed folks to see her general form. Her starched organdy dress and bonnet are as clean and crisp as the day they were first put on. I couldn't make myself undo the ribbons on her socks, as I'd never be able to retie them properly. The box is plain card, with an "R" and 702 marked on it. "59" is penciled in...probably her price. You could get a lot of cute for under a dollar back in the day. She really is an adorable baby.
