He was off-limits, but she would wind his key on occasion and I would sing along to the tune of the “Mickey Mouse Club” song. Mickey is in a fixed seated position. He has a soft stuffed body to house his music box, which is key-wound. His head, hands and feet are painted porcelain bisque. He wears a long-sleeved satin blouse in cream, which is embellished with eyelet cuffs, a velvet bow and lace. His coat is blue velvet with satin lapels. His pants are burgundy velvet with gold thread bric-a-brac piping. Both blouse and pants have metal snap closure. His tail is felt. Mickey is in great vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks in the porcelain, but his face could use a gentle cleaning. There is a small square of sticker residue on the back of his head. There is an overall slight fade to his clothing. His music box plays beautifully with sweet, rich bell tones. The key is in perfect working condition. I do not know if Mickey was originally boxed or tagged, as these items are missing and no paperwork is available. ABOUT ME: I do not own a retail store.
