The sweetest little water, or other, jug in a rich bottle green handle with an applied clear glass handle, which I am pleased to say has the correct load bearing part at the base rather than the top. I believe this to date to the 1950s and to be from the Whitefriars factory. It has a smoth polished pontil mark at the base. Measuring 5 inches in height and is 3 inches at the widest part of the body. A lovely little jug perhaps for water for your whisky, though I can imagine all you Scotsmen out there calling me a Sassenach and saying you should not put water with your favourite wee dram. But then, I do not drink anyway, so I am allowed to be ignorant in these matters.
