Sweet Royal Doulton Figurine - This Little Pig

This is a Royal Doulton figurine from the Children category. It is titled, "This Little Pig." Dimensions: height is 4&1/2" and it is 3" wide at broadest point. It depicts a seated little boy, blond with blue eyes, wrapped in a pinkish red blanket with violet or orchid colored blossoms. Boy's head and face have light skin tone, very blue eyes, rosy cheeks, pink lips, and are well formed and beautifully rendered. His little feet (the little pigs, perhaps) are delicately shaped. The condition of this figurine is near mint. I see no imperfections at all, except very, very slight wear on a few parts of the edge of the bottom of the base, probably due to use. The bottom mark is the Royal Doulton standard green logo with the identifying item no., HN 1793 and the initials "P.J.", most likely the artist's. Also on the bottom is inscribed, "This Little Pig." This is an adorable figurine in outstanding condition that has been discontinued in 1995 by Royal Doulton. It is becoming harder and harder to find one. Buyer to pay shipping/handling costs.
