Swift’s Works 1750 w/Virginia Attorney at Law Bookplate Important Early Bookplate George Washington ’s Lawyer This is a great rare book from 1750 entitled the Miscellanies of Swift. It is an odd volume but it has the beautiful early Chippendale Bookplate of Gabriel Jones and says, Gabriel Jones Attorney at Law in Virginia. Jones was a prominent attorney and even did some work with George Washington in the mid-1700s. The bookplate is from around 1750 and is in very good condition. Check out my other items !
