For your consideration, this wonderful Swineside Ceramic Retro "Tea-v Time" Teapot is up for auction. This Swineside Teapot is "Tea-riffic!" Manufactured by Swineside Ceramics of Yorkshire, England, this "Ultra-Mod" Teapot is designed in the shape of a Dry Bar and is complete with a "Tea Time News" Television Lid, a Spralled-out Edition of the "Tea-v Times" on its Counter and a Black & Banana-yellow Table Lamp. Please pardon the Black-on Black Photos that don't really show the Lamp, I was trying as best I could to highlight the Bone-white Porcelain that makes up the Main Body of this Stunning & Streamlined Teapot. The Terrific Details of this teapot are apparent, all the way from the Gold Gilt & "Mod Decorated" Cabinet, to the way the Magazine "slopes over" the side of the counter, to the Ultra-mod Turquoise Shag Carpeting! The same Mod Decorated Design is on the Reverse of the teapot as well. This Retro-Mod Teapot comes with the Original Tag, is Handpainted and Signed Swineside Ceramics - England - 1992. It is 14" from Handle to Spout and 6" tall. The Television Lid with Antenna make this Superb Teapot 10 3/4" tall. The condition is Excellent . This Swinside Teapot has no chips, cracks or other damage to report other than minor wear. The side of the magazine that rests on the counter has a tiny flea bite, although it is smooth to the touch and not rough, making me believe it was glazed that way. I hope you can agree that this Swineside "Tea-v Time"Teapot would be a welcome addition to any collection of Fine English Collectible Teapots!
