Lovely 40's vintage dress in a soft drapey jersey fabric in a cheerful paisley print in shades of spring green, turquoise and rasberry against a butter yellow background. Feels like a cotton or rayon blend. Shirtwaist bodice has short cuffed kimono type sleeves and shirring at waistline. Skirt has a slight A-line shape and is gored in back. There are two rounded patch pockets in front with flaps. Dress buttons all the way down the front with matching fabric covered buttons. Label reads "Majestic"
Measurements-bust 40", waist 30", hips 42", shoulder to waist 17 1/2", waist to hem 28". Original belt is missing and shoulder pads are gone. I detected threads inside shoulder seams where they were once attached. Otherwise, this dress is in excellent vintage condition.
