SWISS ARMY BLANKET VINTAGE WOOL MILITARY CROSS Description:You are bidding on a vintage wool Swiss Army Military Blanket.The condition is very good and soft with no holes, rips, tears, or heavy wear. The back side is lightly marked in two spots with the roman number 2 in black as can be seen in the photos.T is also this same mark on one of the front corners but its faded and not very visible.Some of the blankets were stamped like this when they were taken out of service.These marks may, or may not fade away with cleaning. Steeped in alpine tradition and suited to high-altitude elements, this vintage Swiss Army blankets is the real deal—impenetrably warm, pleasingly soft and seamlessly crafted of wool and horse hair. This blanket is marked with a unique issue number and the signature white cross on a red stripe. Made in Switzerland.Measures approximately 52 inches wide, by 76 inches long. Has the metal tags, and is made of good quality wool. Clean with no odors,and ready to be shipped. This same blankets is being sold right now in the Sundance catalog for $298.00 dollars!
