This Charming Swiss Handmade Pottery is in MINT Condition. It is mid-century/1960's in date, to the best of my knowledge. On the back of the plate or tray is a sticker which is handwritten: S. W. Stadler Alpen st. 5 Luzern. I believe that this name and address has to do with the artist's residence, studio or store where the pottery was sold. Also I don't think this is the name of the artist. Hopefully, the buyer interested in this gorgeous plate will have more insight into its history. The plate depicts three children (2 girls with ribbons in their hair and 1 boy), flowing in the wind, surrounded by beautiful flowers, floating in the air, all around them. It's a very peaceful and happy image. The girls are wearing pale green dresses and the boy is wearing a pale brown shirt. The background is black, and the border is light blue with pale green swirls. The pottery itself is flawless. Thank you for bidding! :)
