This Toy has been adapted for use with a single switch such as a "jellybean" or "big red" switch with a 1/8" jack. It can only be operated using such a switch. The switch is not included. When the switch is pressed, Lulu the dog walks, nods its head, wags its tail, and playfully pounces around for great sensory feedback. Lulu is 6 1/2 inches tall. She was removed from the original packaging in order to be adapted and then replaced in the box. I am a special needs teacher and am hoping to get toys like this into the hands of kids at a reasonable price. I try to catch them on sale and have adapted many for my own students!
